Playing around with proportions. I like to draw pokemon more on the animalistic side, so that's why ever pokemon you see of mine will often be closer to an amorphous animal than any animal or object they are based off of. They tend to all have the same basic body shape for me, and then I add characteristics as I go. I know, it's weird. One day I will have the full pokedex drawn of my versions of pokemon. They will be pretty weird, just warning you! Eheh.
Oh yes, these two are from my pearl nuzlocke run, Jacob the Gengar and Chuchu the Chimecho.
